Description
A mechanical table top cigarette box/dispenser, made from cream injection moulded and extruded polystyrene with decorative side and end panels of brown textured synthetic leather. The mechanism is operated by raising the roller-shutter which in turn pushes forwards a dispenser offering five cigarettes. As the roller-shutter closes more cigarettes are loaded onto the dispenser. The box is refilled by removing a panel which slides into place to conceal and contain the stored cigarettes. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection.
