Utility barrier

A utility barrier which acts as a warning sign to stop pedestrians from falling into a hole in the ground. This barrier is completely made in the UK at the Melba Swintex factory in Bury. It has a unique and protected D-hinge(tm) system, which has been designed to connect to the existing metal gate systems and other plastic barriers on the market, and makes the barrier extremely stable when set up. The upper area of the barrier has been designed with an increased area for highly reflective material (a requirement for the European market), locating lugs are incorporated onto the barrier so that the reflective material is not damaged when the barrier is stacked. The barrier is made from 100% recyclable high density polyethylene and has deep channels to prevent the collection of rainwater. It is lightweight and compact meaning it can be easily carried by a single person, deployed quickly, and takes up minimal space in vehicles whilst in transit. The D-hinge(tm) and D-clip(tm) are all made of polypropylene. Measurement for depth listed is for the barrier in the folded position.
