1.2m open mesh tree guard

A roll of black mesh designed to provide protection to newly planted or already established trees and shrubs. It offers the plant protection from wildlife such as rabbits, hares or roe deer whilst also ensuring the tree receives plenty of ventilation and is not restricted in its growth. It is made of high-density polyethylene and is UV stabilised as well as rot and chemical proof, ensuring it offers long-lasting and effective protection to your trees and shrubs. The mesh design allows wind and other weather elements through to strengthen the plants trunk and allow it to grow freely. The guard is easy to install around the plant and can be stappled onto a wood stake to hold it in place. The mesh is produced in black, brown, and green. Mesh of this type is created from an extruded tube. It is made by extruding liquid plastic through small openings in in a rotating mould. Threads are created in two directions and fall over each other. The tube is then stretched, cooled in water, stabilised, and then cut open into a flat sheet.
