A ring bound folder entitled 'Aids to the Identification of Plastics explanatory notes with plastic samples', compiled and issued in 1977 by the Building Research Establishment . The folder comprises four pages of samples, 36 individual samples in total, explanatory notes; a paper by Barbara F W Rogowski entitled Plastics in buildings - fire problems and control (1976); a paper entitled 'Cellular plastics for building' by the BRE (1979); a paper entitled 'Durability and application of plastics' by the BRE (1972 with minor revisions 1977); an identification chart of cellular plastics; and an identification chart of solid plastics.
