Smart airbrick, 1 of 2

A Smart Airbrick developed and manufactured by Eco Coverage Technologies. Made from recycled polypropylene, the Smart Airbrick is designed as a replacement unit for a standard airbrick which allows unrestricted airflow beneath a property. However, unlike a standard clay brick, the Smart Airbrick uses a flotation valve to automatically shut off and block the passage of water in flood conditions. A permanent fixture, the Smart Airbrick removes the need to take pre-flood action against the ingress of water. The Smart AirBrick technology can also be used to automatically close during strong gusty winds, which reduces heat loss from under the property and could potentially save energy.
