Braun GCS 5 gas curler

A black coloured, slim, Braun GCS 5 gas curler. Type 4560, designed by Robert Oberheim in 1992 and made in Ireland. Cordless, this curling iron is powered via a Braun energy cell (not present with this example), which was available in a small size for travel and a larger size for home use. A blue push button on the end of the wand powers the appliance which has a heat resistant cover and blue coloured safety lock. It was sold as part of a boxed set, the Braun Style 'n Go, which also included a volume brush to fit over the tong (not present). See AIBDC : 0_2598 for a similar example, the GCS 6.
