Braun 1600 hairdryer

A Braun 1600 silencio professional control 12 hairdryer. Injection moulded in black coloured acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), this compact hairdryer has an ergonomic, slanted handle and includes a convenient hanging ring at the end. Type 4600. Designed in 1985 by Robert Oberheim, the silencio range was first introduced in 1982 (see AIBDC : 009135 and AIBDC : 009136 for another example) as a new, quieter hairdryer that operated at higher performance levels. It has a flat air intake opposite the blowing function and one operational switch on the handle providing both the power and three speed control. A grooved design moulded into the back of the handle provides improved grip. Manufacturing details moulded onto the front of the handle include the warning 'do not take into bathroom'.
