Braun P 1600 hairdryer

A Braun P 1600 silencio hairdryer. Injection moulded in grey coloured acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), this compact hairdryer has an ergonomic, slanted handle and includes a convenient hanging ring at the end. Model 4533. Designed in 1985 by Robert Oberheim, the silencio range was first introduced in 1982 (see AIBDC : 009135) as a new, quieter hairdryer that operated at higher performance levels. It has a flat air intake opposite the blowing function and one operational switch on the handle providing both the power and three speed control. A grooved design moulded into the back of the handle provides improved grip. Manufacturing details moulded onto the front of the handle include the warning 'do not take into bathroom'.
