Cam-guin

Description

A red coloured Cam-guin vinyl toy figure, designed by Pete Fowler in 2003 as part of his World of Monsterism range and manufactured by Playbeast. Released in five editions (green, brown, blue, white and red), the character is boxed and accompanied by a pamphlet introducing an extensive back story. Rotocast in vinyl, Cam-guin wears a hooded top, in a red coloured camouflage design that hides the face, only showing the eyes, with four holes where the mouth would be (to filter airborne plankton as a food source). With a moveable head and waist, the front zip features a skull design on the puller and there is a silhouette moulded into the bottom of the left shoe. Pete Fowler is a Welsh born graphic designer, illustrator, artist and designer/art toy creator with a postmodern cartoon style.
